Double — a ball that lands past the double line in the air
Single — a ball that lands before the double line and comes to rest without being fielded
Tag up — the batter must yell "Tag" while the ball is in the air. The fielder who caught or fielded the ball throws it to home and tries to hit any part of the strike zone. The ball can bounce and roll into the zone.
Batters cannot lean in to get hit by a pitch — this is ruled a strike. The batter must make a reasonable attempt to get out of the way.
Runners only advance when forced
Any ball that does not reach the first curved foul line is a foul ball

Ground Out — picking up a ball cleanly before it comes to rest — this only applies to balls that first land before the double line and cross the first curved foul line
Fly Out — any caught ball in the air — fielders may not cross the home run line to make the catch
Double play — can be attempted after fielding a ball cleanly. The fielder throws the ball and must hit the strike zone in the air (no bouncing) to record the second out

Walk — 4 balls
Strikeout — 3 strikes
Foul out — 5 fouls
The pitcher's back foot must start on or behind the pitching line
Pitchers must rotate each inning with all players in the pitching rotation
A pitcher may only be substituted after facing 4 or more batters in the current inning
